For the administrator
The administrator's account looks after the whole site: accounts, groups, plans and the server. It has no groups of its own; everything is on the Admin page, a tab at a time. Each tab has its own address, so Back and Forward move between them.
Accounts
- Students, Teachers and Parents list every account, with when each joined, their last sign-in and whether they are online now. A row's buttons (or a right-click on it) change the name or username, reset the password, turn off 2-step sign-in for someone who lost their phone, or delete the account.
- Teachers › Teacher sign-up chooses who may create a teacher account: anyone with the sign-up code (shown there; New code makes another), anyone, or nobody. School codes work whichever is chosen.
- View as (on a teacher's row) opens SKRM Learn as that teacher sees it, to help them. It is read only: nothing can be changed there. A band at the top says so; Back to Admin ends it (after an hour at most it ends by itself). The teacher sees in their own list of changes (Preferences › Security) that you did.
- Deleting a teacher asks who takes over their groups: nobody for now (you keep them, as "No teacher yet"), or another teacher.
- Students › Delete unused accounts: shows first what it would delete, and does nothing until you switch it on.
Groups
Groups lists every group with its teacher and students. Choose who teaches a group (the teacher before loses it at once), or tick students in and out of it. Taking a student out asks first: their work in the group is deleted, and a copy of their code and boards goes to their library.
Library and storage
- Library is the main activity library every teacher can add from.
- Storage sets how much each account may keep (pictures, files, recordings) and shows what each one uses.
Plans
Plans shows who is on Free, Pro and School, what each plan allows (and lets you change it), the school codes, plans you have given by hand, trials, and the subscriptions paid for through Paddle.
The server
Server says at the top whether all is well, or what needs a look: the disk or memory nearly full, slow answers, many errors, a backup missing. Below: who is online now, the machine, graphs for a day or a week, the latest errors (on the server and in people's browsers), slow work, email sent today against the daily limit, and the backups. Visitors counts the public pages' visitors, without cookies or outside services.
Changes and problems
- Changes lists who changed what (accounts, passwords, groups, plans, teachers' changes in their groups), newest first, with a search. It keeps a year.
- Problems lists what people sent with Report a problem, the ones not dealt with first. Mark each Done once it is.
When something is wrong
The status page (learn.skrm.dev/status) says whether the site is working, for everyone. The
same check (/api/health) is what the alerts watch: if it says "warning" or "problem",
Admin › Server says why.
