Terms of service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us for using SKRM Learn. Please read them: by creating an account or using SKRM Learn you agree to them. If you use SKRM Learn for a school or another organisation, you agree on its behalf and confirm you may do so.

1. Who we are

SKRM Learn (https://learn.skrm.dev) is run by Mykhailo Skrypkin, a sole trader in England trading as Custom Solutions SK, Ground Floor Flat, 11 Mattison Road, London N4 1BG, United Kingdom. Email: custom.solutions.sk@gmail.com. "We", "us" and "our" mean Mykhailo Skrypkin trading as Custom Solutions SK.

2. What SKRM Learn is

An online classroom for teachers and tutors: groups of students, tasks and homework, a Python editor that runs in the browser, shared whiteboards, a library, messages, lesson booking, video calls, and accounts for parents. We may improve, change or stop parts of it; we will tell you in good time about changes that take away something you pay for.

3. Accounts

  • Teachers and tutors must be 18 or over. You are responsible for your groups: who you invite, what you ask your students to do, and what is shared in your groups.
  • Students join through their teacher's class code. If a student is under 13, their teacher or school must have their parent's or carer's permission for them to use SKRM Learn, and is responsible for having it.
  • Parents and carers join through an invitation from their child's teacher and see only their own child's work and lessons.
  • Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what is done with your account.

4. Using SKRM Learn properly

You must not use SKRM Learn to:

  • break the law, or share anything unlawful, harmful, hateful, sexual, or that bullies or harasses anyone;
  • share someone else's personal information without the right to;
  • upload anything that infringes someone else's rights (for example, copyright);
  • upload viruses or harmful code, try to get into accounts or parts of the service you are not allowed into, or overload or disrupt the service;
  • send unwanted advertising, or use the service mainly for something other than teaching and learning.

Code that students run is run in their own browser. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell the account (or, for a student, their teacher) why, unless the law or a person's safety says otherwise.

5. Your content

What you create and upload (code, boards, files, messages) stays yours. You give us permission to store it, copy it (for example into backups) and show it to the people you share it with, only so that we can run SKRM Learn for you. We do not use your content for advertising, sell it, or use it to train artificial intelligence.

6. Plans and payment

  • Free costs nothing. Pro is a paid subscription for teachers; what each plan includes and its prices are shown on the pricing page (https://learn.skrm.dev/pricing). School gives a school's teachers everything in Pro, through a code we give the school.
  • Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd) sells Pro on our behalf as the "merchant of record": you buy from Paddle, which takes your payment, charges any VAT and sends your receipts. Paddle's buyer terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) apply to the purchase as well.
  • Prices include VAT where it applies. A subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. If there is a free trial, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before.
  • Cancel at any time under Your plan › Manage subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for; nothing you made is deleted, but you can't add beyond Free's limits after that.
  • We will tell you at least 30 days before a price rise for your subscription; you can cancel before it applies.
  • Refunds: see our Refund policy (https://learn.skrm.dev/refunds).

7. Availability

We work to keep SKRM Learn running and your work safe (including nightly backups), but we can't promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may need to pause it for maintenance, usually outside lesson times.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using SKRM Learn at any time; to have your account and its data deleted, email us. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. When an account is deleted, its data is removed within 30 days, including from backups.

9. Our responsibility to you

  • Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.
  • We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses (such as lost profits) if you use SKRM Learn for a business.
  • If you use SKRM Learn for a business or organisation, our total responsibility in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in those 12 months, or £100 if that is more.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when SKRM Learn changes or the law does. We will show the date of the latest version above and tell you about important changes in SKRM Learn before they apply.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your own courts.

12. Contact
